Let Insulin Pal keep track of your doses for you.

The worries never stop...

How much is still in me?

The mental math never stops

Hours since the last shot, units still working - you're computing it at dinner, at the gym, at 2 a.m.

Is it even still working?

Is it done yet?

A dose doesn't announce when it's finished. Guessing has been the only tool.

Wait, did I take that?

Memory is a bad logbook

Busy days blur doses together. “Did I already take that?” shouldn't be a daily question.

Built by a fellow diabetic

In 2025 a doctor told me my pancreas had quit, and handed me a full-time job I never applied for.

The hardest part isn't the needles. It's the running total in your head - how much is left, when does it peak, is it done - a quiet second job that clocks in at breakfast and is still there at 2 a.m.

I'm a designer, so I did the only thing I knew to do with a problem that wouldn't leave me alone: I gave it a shape. A curve I could look at, instead of a sum I had to keep redoing.

Insulin Pal is the app I kept wishing existed that first year. It does the remembering so I don't have to. It's on my Home Screen and I check it like the weather.

If any of this sounds like the inside of your head - this one's for you, from a fellow diabetic a year into it.

Questions people ask

Does Insulin Pal tell me how much insulin to take?

No. It only logs the doses you enter and shows an estimate of how much of that insulin may still be active. Dosing decisions always belong to you and your care team.

Is it free?

Insulin Pal is a paid app, but it starts with a free trial so you can use the full timeline before deciding. Nothing is charged until the trial ends.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Insulin Pal is currently iPhone-only, with an Apple Watch app included. Android is planned for the future, but there's no date to share.

Does it work with long-acting or basal insulin?

Not at the moment. Insulin Pal is built around rapid and ultra-rapid insulin, where knowing what's still active matters most. Basal support is being considered for later versions.

Does it connect to my pump, CGM or Apple Health?

Not yet. Today Insulin Pal is a standalone logbook — you add doses yourself with a couple of taps. Integrations with the major CGM brands are planned.

Where is my data stored?

Your account and doses are stored securely with Supabase, a hosted database service, so they sync between your iPhone and Apple Watch. Insulin Pal never sells your data or uses it for ads, and you can delete your account and everything in it from within the app at any time.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. Logging and the timeline work fully offline. A connection is only needed to sync with your account, which happens automatically the next time you're online.
